It’s not shopped. That’s a photo from National Geographic and they are pretty diligent about uncovering shopped or fake pictures in their magazine.
When they do discover a photo was photoshopped or altered they make sure to disclose it in a later issue. For this picture I even remember them going into detail about this photo explaining it was not in fact faked.
I am pretty sure this was taken off the coast of South Africa where they have a lot of great whites that come close to the shore to feed.
Correction: It came from Africa Geographic magazine originally, but I’m still pretty sure National Geographic reposted it in their magazine later.

duhhhh its a double page spread they SCANNED onto the webpage. What happens when you fold and unfold a bit of paper (like one from a magazine) thats right, the images can become disarranged and distorted. I don’t believe that the picture is real, but what you claim ‘proves’ that it is photoshopped, doesn’t prove anything.
Of course. Unless the magazine was a flip-book, It’s kind of obvious they had to scan both pages and shop them next to each other..

On an aside – isn’t that a Whale Shark – harmless to humans??? Because if that’s a great white, judging by the person’s size, it would have to be 30+ feet or more.

That’s what I thought too, but if you click through to the Africa Geographic scans on the White Shark Trust website you can see better those aren’t spots, they’re bubbles.
If you select the africa geographic link posted in a comment below you will get to the original article and find that it is 2 different pictures shopped together. It is very obvious link of two pictures.
Go and read what “shutdown” said above before you call photoshop. It’s a MAGAZINE.
