D&D DOES go to where ever you want, whenever you want, and however you want.

Well, there was this MMOG before WoW (yes I know, hard to believe it wasn’t the first and only) called Everquest. Just like WoW their was what is known as “level creep” (again, WoW wasn’t the first with this phrase, hard to believe, I know) where each expansion (OMG, again, WoW wasn’t the first to do this… are you seeing a trend here?) increases the level cap in the game.
Long story short, you can be a lvl 80 cleric in everquest, however since the tank is not un-dead, its hard to believe even a lvl 80 cleric could put out enough DPS to kill it. He may be gankin-greens though

Everquest 1 was by far better then Wow.. its still alive and kicking with a heavy player base of ppl that won’t let go of the past. Everquest gave birth to games like WoW but you kids wouldn’t know nothin bout that would you. I never found the game boring as much as I find wow boring. Apparently you never seen a dwarven cleric solo names of simular level in EQ1 GTFO MMORPG noob. lol

Level 80 Cleric? PFFF. A couple advanced-level Dispel magic and Anti-Magic setups should seal his fate, combined with average armor and an advanced non-enchanted melee weapon.
