    too soon man too soon

    • SilkyJohnson316 says:

      Funny? Yes! Too soon? Absolutely!

      • II says:

So it’s more appropriate to make a joke about a deap person later on? They’re dead. They’re not going to get offended.

        • George says:

And in other news, most people have what’s called: a family.

          • Rev. Layle says:

this joke isn’t about their family… I DON’T GET IT

          • II says:

And in other news I still don’t care.

I have family too and you’ll never believe what has happened to some of them. Tehy’ve died. DUH DUH DUH!

This wasn’t a personal jab at anyone. It’s a stupid net joke. Get over it, get over yourself, and get laid.

            • Drago says:

Well said, Well said. People, maybe you should think about the fact that when you live in the spot light, EVERYONE can see you, make fun of you and mourn you. This is a small joke about some child actor who died taking drugs.

            • Mack says:

Uhm, it was a personal jab, at Corey Haim.

              Think a little before you drunk-type, K?

              • II says:

No it wasn’t, it was a personal jab at his dead end career, not him as an individual. I choose to seperate the two. :)

You could find his career by taking 3 of your friends on a long journey through the woods, across a train bridge, down into a ravine, and there it is. Go ahead, you know you want to poke it with a stick.

OK, so maybe that was Corey Feldman….still applies.

        • canadianwannabe3 says:

is that supposed to be “deep” or “deaf” II?!?!?!?

    • probus says:

I agree. Way too soon. I am not easily offended, but WTF people!

    • roflroflroflcopterrr says:

Really? too soon? because your mourning for the guy? I didn’t know you were the only person that thought he lived past 1994.

  2. T. Awesome says:

Sailing on the bright bloody edge of Too Soon, there

  3. Demetrius says:

I’m going to take this to mean it’s NEVER too soon, here.

  4. keith says:

    too early

  5. Shelley says:

Oooooouuuuch… I’m definitely thinking “too soon”.

  6. That Guy says:

    WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too soon

  7. icruise says:

    Pathetic.

  8. matt says:

I hope The other Corey does the same.

  9. That Person says:

    Who is this?

  10. Chelsea says:

Oh my God! HORRIBLE…and I know I should be laughing but I can’t help it… RIP, though.

  11. marc says:

    Who’s that?

  12. James says:

This poster is WAY out of line!

    • Cuisine says:

Not a poster. Also; stop riding the bandwagon. You didn’t know the guy so I’m willing to bet you didn’t personally mourn his passing. I’m also willing to bet that none of his family will read this and therefore none of them will be offended by it unless they personally seek out jokes at their loss.

  13. dolloch says:

12 hours after passing = too soon

    Dignity. Get some.

  14. Tai says:

    I don’t get it…

    • jamisings says:

It’s Corey Haim, child actor from the 80s. He was found dead today of an apparent drug overdose.

This is in REALLY poor taste. He doesn’t deserve it. Reserve this sort of stuff for someone who does like Casey Anthony (murdered her 2 year old daughter) or Roman Polanski (drugged & r*p*d a 12 year old girl then fled justice).

      • Batabii says:

        What does rpd mean?

      • Zombie Victim says:

Ugh, Roman Polanski did that 30 years ago…. can’t anybody get over it? It wasn’t near as bad as it was made to sound….

        • Bluckk says:

How is rape not as bad as it sounds?

          • Zombie Victim says:

I heard that he didn’t exactly rape her….

What I heard was that he got her drunk to the point where she willingly had sex with him. If that is true, it isn’t exactly what I would call rape. It isn’t right by any means, but the media basically made it sound as if he had strapped her down to a bed and done whatever sadistic fantasy he wanted to. Of course, I may have been misinformed, and Roman may have done exactly that. But even so, it’s been long enough for the victim to publicly apologize to him, and even ask for his charges to be lifted.

            • Bfoehsho says:

12 Year Old or 13 whichever it was + someone way older than 18 ALWAYS EQUALS statutory rape when you get the police involved. So yes, it was exactly rape. Just like a child molester having sex with a child who thinks they’re in love or is too young to know wtf is going on is also rape.

AND you are perpetuating the whole idea that as long as a woman/girl was drunk enough to say yes, but NOT drunk enough to have passed out, it wasn’t rape. Which is, um, a really terrible pattern in society’s thinking patterns. Frankly if you believe that, I’m surprised you know how to turn on a computer let alone navigate it. I mean that is some Mayonnaise IQ-level thinking.

              • Zombie Victim says:

                You didn’t get my point….

Yes, alright, according to what you said, it was rape (of course, I don’t know much about law because I’m 13). But my point was that it wasn’t nearly as bad as the press made it sound, which you would know if you read my previous comment.

It also appears as if you think I am justifying what Roman Polanski did. I am not. If you COMPLETELY READ MY PREVIOUS COMMENT, you would know that.

Oh, and my IQ is actually rather high. Thank you.

              • Spike says:

^WIN. Oh, and btw… this poster was way too soon. He may have done a bad thing, but karma already got to him on that, didnt it? Whoever made this- Get f***ed- Get AIDS- Go die in a ditch.

              • mavisbeecon says:

so me and my girlfriend had sex when we were both 17, does that mean we raped each other?…

            • sarah says:

Uh yeah – she was 12 – doesn’t matter if she was ‘drunk’ – its still statutory rape, idiot.

        • Augie says:

Soooo your saying raping a child is not bad?

          • Zombie Victim says:

No. I’m saying exactly what I wrote:

It wasn’t near as bad as it was made to sound….

That doesn’t mean I think what he did was good. I don’t. It just means I think it was hyped to be worse than it really was. If you what to see why I think it wasn’t as bad as it was made to sound, read my replies that I sent to the other people who decided to reply to my comment.

            • bfoehsho says:

Yeah maybe the Holocaust wasn’t near as bad as what it was made to sound, either. Rape isn’t ever as bad as people make it out to be.
              You, child, are fail.

        • Raeven says:

How about this, someone can drug and rape YOU, and then see if thirty years from now it’s as bad as it sounds to you o.O

          • Zombie Victim says:

She publicly forgave him in 1997. That was 13 years ago, In case you haven’t noticed…. and then she asked for the charges against him to be dropped in 2003 (they weren’t). And I believe I heard she was actually willing (even though he had, in fact, got got her drunk.) If so, that technically isn’t rape. I’m not saying what he did was right, don’t you think I am.

So, you’re basically asking me whether I would forgive someone I willingly had sex with (even if I was drunk) 30 years later. I would.

            • Bfoehsho says:

Um it doesn’t matter if she was willing, as long as she is younger than 18 or in some states 17, it is considered statutory rape to have sex with a child who is 12.

              • Zombie Victim says:

Okay. I get the point. You already pointed that out. And I’m pretty sure she was 13.

                • JBoy says:

                  Wasn’t it 17 dollars?

                • d says:

Even if she WAS 13, it doesn’t matter, it was STILL underage and STILL considered statutory rape, therefore, YES, it is still technically rape, so stfu saying it technically isn’t if she agreed. She was a child, weak, innocent, and vulnerable and he did an awful thing, even if it was thirty years ago, even if she did forgive him, it was still awful.
Also, if you were a twelve or thirteen year old girl in this situation, you probably wouldn’t have any idea wtf was going on, or if you did you’d be too scared to say no. If you were like, 27 and got drunk and said hell yes, let’s f***, it’d be totally different, you should be mature enough to know better. I’m actually surprised she forgave him, I know I never would.

                • jonas says:

                  what are you, his son?

    • jamisings says:

Since my original comment is awaiting approval –

“It’s Corey Haim, child actor from the 80s. He was found dead today of an apparent drug overdose.”

      • Angel S. Dawn says:

Seriously, I was reading your other comments and you just need to get over yourself. You’re not that good, you’re really not.
You didn’t know the guy, stop acting like you do. That itself is disrespectful. I’m sorry if I came off as a rude little bitch, but you really just need to get your ass off a website *teens* spend all day on and get your ass laid. Someone as old as you should know better than to lecture a bunch of teens.

I am sorry that he died, but this joke had some humor to it. If it’s not okay to make now, it’s never going to be. All these people saying it’s too soon, need to sit back and realize, that they never actually knew the guy. Again, I’m sorry that it happened, but it’s done and can’t be taken back. Get over it.

        • II says:

          EPIC. WIN.

        • jonas says:

wtf you don’t have to know the guy personally or be in his nearest family in order to say it is tasteless to post something like this right after the person died! That is certainly not disrespectful, it is this poster that is. Do you have have to have been michael jacksons best friend to mourn his death? no.
And “jokes” like this DOES get “more okay” the longer time it has been, how wrong it may sound. that’s just how it is. As long as the jokes aren’t distasteful. then it’ll never be funny

      • antoniogoya says:

lol she was 13 and wasnt drugged, he didnt even know her age…that bitch looked 18 to me in the photos, honest mistake maybe, the man was just trying to get some pssy…

  15. lolrus says:

wow. way too soon. bad taste.

  16. wow :| says:

    Seriously? Yeah…way too soon.

  17. hahahathud says:

yep, too soon. i did snort wheni saw it though…

    • II says:

So even though your initial reaction was to laugh you’re gonna sell yourself out to agree with everyone? Nice…

      • hahahathud says:

not selling myself out, just acknowledging that there is certainly a baser instinct at play in me (and others) that we have snickering about someone else’s pain…

        • II says:

          I laughed a little. I don’t think it’s poor taste either.

The pun is on his career, not a tragic death. Of course the pundits can’t seem to wrap their feeble minds around that.

  18. ?? says:

    Who is it? *honest question*

    • JBoy says:

Seriously? You’re typing this on the INTERNET, and you can’t think of any possible technology that might be close at hand that could help you find out who that is? On your own? Without your hand being held?

      Seriously?

      • jonas says:

it is a picture of a boy who apparently is dead. imagine you have never seen this guy before. I for one haven’t. what are you going to google? “boy+dead”? For all this picture tells you it could be a 14year-old boy who died in 1980
        don’t be such a smartass

    Corey Haim dead at 38

Last updated at 11:34 a.m. ET

    Gallery: Corey Haim, 1971 – 2010

Eighties-era teen actor Corey Haim was found dead in a Los Angeles apartment in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The Los Angeles police confirmed the death to TV station KTLA this morning in what it termed an “accidental overdose.”

LA County coroner’s Lt. Cheryl MacWillie Wednesday told the Associated Press that Haim died at 2:15 a.m. at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank and that no new details will be released until the cause of death is determined by an autopsy.

Four prescription bottles were found at Haim’s North Hollywood apartment, Los Angeles Coroner assistant chief Ed Winter told UsMagazine.com. Haim awoke early Wednesday morning not feeling well, added Winter, and had been sick for the past few days with “flu-like symptoms.”

Haim is best known for his role in “The Lost Boys” and for his frequent pairing with actor Corey Feldman in numerous movies. Haim and Feldman starred in a short-lived a reality show, “The Two Coreys,” on A&E in 2007-2008.

In a 2004 interview with British tabloid the Sun, Haim described his drug addiction:

“I started on the downers which were a hell of a lot better than the uppers because I was a nervous wreck. But one led to two, two led to four, four led to eight, until at the end it was about 85 a day — the doctors could not believe I was taking that much. And that was just the Valium — I’m not talking about the other pills I went through.”

The interview concluded with Haim’s proclamation that he was clean, sober and ready to make a Hollywood comeback.

    • boo says:

I suppose that IS a “comeback” of sorts. We are talking Hollywood here.
      :D

I find it hilarious that for the last 15 odd years people have relentlessly made fun of him (uploading all his drugged-up interviews on Youtube being the least of it) and now they’re all like “LEAVE COREY HAIM ALONE!!!”
He died. So what? Sorry to break it to you, kids … but you’re ALL going to die one day. Me too. And if nobody laughs when I die, my life will have sucked. Get over it. Change your damn nappies.

  20. jamie says:

    too soon. Lost Boys forever.

  21. Whatevz says:

Who the f is this? :/

  22. Bearl McGee says:

    Too soon, not cool.

  23. mark says:

poor taste, regardless of who passed away

  24. Nat Elam says:

    WAAAAAAYYYY to soon. Thumbs down.

  25. Evan says:

Well, it’s been a fun few months, but after this I’m deleting my RSS subscription. This is about as unclassy as you can get.

    • Ha says:

And nothing of value was lost.

      • II says:

        LOL! Pwnd.

Peace Evan.If you’re offended that easily over something a stranger posted on the net GTFO.

        • George says:

Riiiiight, because he was the only one on this thread who was offended by this. Glad to see some people still care about a little something called common decency.

If you’re that easily offended that the concept of people being offended exists, then take your own advice, Troll, and GTFO.

Or at the very least GTFU (grow the **** up).

          • Rev. Layle says:

Brilliantly tasteless – absolutely “DEMOTIVATED NOW”

what Internet Memes are really abouts!

+1 Taste (well tastes like pwn!)

          • II says:

Nope. That was a comment to apply to all. I’m not offended by anyone being offended, just pointing out all the lemmings falling in line over somethign stupid. Mindlessly following each other over a cliff. Of course, I wouldn’t expect a lemming to comprehend that, as you’ve already proven.

            Bye, I won’t shed a tear. :)

Common decency != agreeing with everyone. Get your head out of your ass so you can find your way out. Thanks for playing! :)

            • Jordan says:

I love this website. :) and ive been here not even an hour. lol

            • Dude? says:

what? Dude, quit defendin yourself. You don’t care, we get it. But do yourself a favor, will you? Light yourself on fire, cause that is all I want to see. And common decency is giving someone who is dead that never harmed you some respect. Not falling in line. It wasn’t funny then, and isn’t funny now. If someone were to comment on how worthless and pathetic you were in life (if we hear that it happened, we will do just that, although, you’re worthless, so no one will ikely even care)you would want someone to defend you where you couldn’t, right? if not, probz cause no one thinks you’re worth the time of day to defend. Uphill battle, you know?

              • jonas says:

                well said!

              • iseestupidpeople says:

Hitler, Stalin, Jack the Ripper, Ed Gein, Saddam Hussein… they all “never harmed me”, should I give them respect?

Common Decency is a phrase the PC folk like to use so that thin skinned people have something to whine about when their frilly lacey underthings get wadded up in their soft and flabby gluteal regions.

  26. MR CROWLEY says:

Yea, it’s a little too soon. Still, I can’t have all THAT much sympathy for someone dying of an OD.

  27. Augie says:

Some people have no class whatsoever.

  28. tif says:

He died of an overdoes, not a plane crash. I thought it was clever, come on this site is for comedy not sympathy.

    • StainedSword says:

True, it’s a comedy site, but making fun of someone the day of their death is pretty… Well, wrong. Don’t really know the guy, but it is always sad to see someone become a drug addict and get completely screwed up due to childhood fame.

      • Maimes says:

I’m sorry, but who DIDN’T get a text the minute they found out MJ had died with some hilarious joke in it? I know he’s different but seriously people need to settle down.

      • Chardrak says:

His addiction was no worse than a regular joe who dies of an overdose and gets no sympathy. I find it seriously hard to have any sympathy for them simply because of the number of addicts in a certain part of my own family that slowly die off one by one yet never stop doing what they are doing to themselves. Draining their family’s money, straining relationships, and dying in the end leaving medical bills. Celebrity addictions and deaths are no different.

        • II says:

          +1 for Tif and Chardrak.

He died people. Sorry, but that’s part of life. Deal.

          • BigMomma says:

How many times are you going to repeat yourself? Sounds like you need to get over yourself before you start harping at others. This “joke” is a bit early…there’s a thing called a period of grief and I’d sure hope that no one who cared about Corey saw this unclassy joke so early. So yeah, it does matter how soon a joke comes out. He may have been a washed up actor with a huge load of flaws, but he was still a person.

            • II says:

I’ll repeat myself as many times as all the groupies repeat about how “it’s too soon”. We get it. All 500 of you love each other and agree on everything.

Sorry if my posts offended. Just stating that if you’re offended, don’t come. Not meant to be derogatory so much as instructional. :)

              • Zombie Victim says:

I agree. This is the internet! If you don’t want to be offended, stay off of it. And if you see something that offends you, leave the site, instead of staying on and commenting about how offensive everything is.

                • II says:

YOUR RESPONSE IS OFFENSIVE! I DON’T APPRECIATE IT!

                • jonas says:

i don’t like being offended, does that mean i should stop using computers? How about you stop going to school because someone might offend you there? not how it works little boy. this is a cool site with a lot of funny s**t, not a site where you offend recently deceased people. therefore it should be allowed to react when that happens

          • George says:

People have feelings, douchebag. Sorry, but that’s part of life. Deal.

            • II says:

Cry me a river Justin Timberlake. As said before, TEH INTERWEBZ IS OPTIONAL.

              If you’re offended, don’t come. Peace. :)

    • Augie says:

No, you did’nt think. THAT’S the problem. Grow up!!

  29. Farkas says:

    Way, way too early…

  30. Dana says:

    This is just tasteless.

  31. ccWarPig says:

Keep up the good job! It’s never too soon. ;)

  32. FlareKitsune says:

It’s the internet. When does dignity ever matter?

  33. Cmonnn says:

HOW IS THIS TOO SOON? This had me chuckling… if not now when? if not this guy, who? good stuff man!! lol He’s dead and if it’s an OD and thats what all directions, also his reality show, pointed to it… you say too soon, i say ABOUT TIME.

  34. Shalindria says:

If you haven’t seen him in dream a little dream, watch it……both of the Corey’s were so cool in that movie…..for late 80s at least.

  35. Becky says:

This is in very bad taste and I’m sure karma will catch up to you for publishing this.

  36. Jay says:

ok. First- who the hell is this? Second- not too soon, not out of line. You’ve got what the vast majority of America dreams of, and you’re a druggie? Come on.. *THAT’S* not “bad taste”..?

..and to top the cake, you O.D. on drugs, and I’m supposed to feel sorrow..? Gimme a break.

    • George says:

Wait, you don’t know who he is, yet, you know he OD’d? Interesting. Do you always get your facts from comment threads.

  37. ninbroken52 says:

    I don’t know…

    It’s a Corey…

This day and age we hear about things much faster and get over it much faster…

    It’s a Corey…

    I’m leanin’ Spot-on with the timing…

Might want to put up Feldman’s real quick while we’re at it…just to be prepared and all…I mean…have you SEEN Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys???

  38. Darren says:

HAHAHAHAHA…. f*** these people, never too soon.!!

  39. dafairygirl says:

    wrong…….. just to wrong…

  40. skiddz says:

Ha ha ha! Everyone says its too soon, thats almost as funny as the poster itself. Wahhh, hes dead, he did it to himself.

  41. Mr7 says:

There’s no such thing as “good” or “bad” taste… Just things you like and things you don’t.

  42. knifewounds says:

i didnt even know til i saw this. now im sad :(

to all you ‘who’s this?’ people, you suck. Lost Boys. watch it.

in fact i reckon after Twilight ruined vampire movies for ever, CH just lost the will to live.

  43. Corey Haim says:

Asshole! It hasn’t even been a full 24 yet!

  44. Nenichan says:

Okay, how many HOURS ago was he pronounced dead? =_=

  45. Heather says:

    Wicked ill.
This is beneath the lowest of the low.
I would remove it for karma sake

    • voiceoreason says:

Do you know what karma is? Are you hindu? Are you just using that word because it’s become popular recently and people use it despite the fact it’s bull?

    • Karma says:

Once again. I have a sense of humor. Spread the word?? Thanks sweetheart. ;)

  46. victor says:

Come on, people… You keep saying “Too soon!”, but, really, he didn’t die trying to save a baby or something. He died of an OD! Christ! Is everyone high on this site?!

  47. Lynz Catastrophe says:

Yes its too soon, yes this is tasteless and has no class what so ever…..but does it make me a bad person when i laugh at this because its damn funny?

    • Jordan says:

Hell no it doesn’t because it’s funny. It’s a joke. That’s it, and even if it was meant by the author to offend, who the heck cares. Why should you let what other people say on the internet offend you. People like George and BigMomma who took serious offense to it just need to STFU and move on to the next poster and laugh about it. There are people out there who are going to make ridiculously hilarious and rude jokes about inappropriate subjects and you don’t have to be superman and go fix all the bad guys. Then again this whole paragraph is hypocritical because i need to realize there are people out there that are going to take offense to almost ANYTHING and i can’t fix their dumb asses. And this is to all the BigMomma’s and George’s out there not you Lynz so dont think i’m attacking you lol.

  48. ssdsflk says:

Too soon? So it’s wrong to make fun of this now but not in the future? It’s the same.

    • Julius Pleaser says:

I think there’s some kind of magical time limit after which death becomes funny. Of course, it only applies to celebrities. If an ordinary person, who never had millions of dollars to blow on drugs, becomes addicted and dies in a gutter in abject misery, then of course the only acceptable reaction is to ignore them. After all, they weren’t in any movies, and never had boyish good looks, so just let a disposal crew chuck them into a potters field and be done with it, joking about it would be like joking about throwing away an old Snapple bottle you found lying in the street. But if someone was famous, they’re sacrosanct, and there’s an arbitrarily defined amount of time that must pass before any of us plebs are allowed to show anything but utter reverence and sorrow at the passing of such a beloved figure.

  49. Oh Come On says:

Too soon? Who cares….. he can’t read it! This is what people do, they die. Have a good chuckle about it and move along.

  50. allanon79 says:

    Very Tacky

  51. cal says:

you should turn this one down if you respect life a little.

  52. me says:

This is a guy who killed himself through his own stupidity and lack of judgment. I do not feel sorry for this guy AT ALL. I do, however, feel sorry for his family. Haim might have been an addict and an idiot, but his family still loved him and will mourn his loss. That being said, this is really funny. I think it would have been appreciated more next week, though. Haim did this to himself, but my condolences to his family. Judging from everyone else’s response, though,I guess I’m going to hell with him for laughing at this.

  53. juan valdez says:

“too soon”– What a joke. So, when is it ok to pick on losers? Is there a cutoff date after they kill themselves? Is it only ok to pick on live losers? WTF?

“This is in poor taste”– Have these clowns seen the rest of this site?

  54. Doctor says:

Tiny bit too soon but someone’s gotta do it. I think it’s not that bad, the comment could have been a lot worse.

  55. Meeeeee....p says:

WAY too soon…. still made me laugh though. =P

  56. Squirrel says:

You should turn this down. That’s horrible!

  57. says:

Re: everyone: welcome to the INTERNETS!

  58. TheCake says:

Too soon? No. Funny? Also no.

  59. A032 says:

    This isn’t even remotely funny.

It’s never funny to mock one’s death, or their life after a death (they’ve already received enough abuse during their life), and this poster is just despicable.

    How inhuman and cruel.

    • voiceoreason says:

So you have never laughed at a michael jackson since the day he died? Or a joke about princess di?

    • Ahetma Vaakenjaab says:

You don’t get it, he didn’t RECEIVE abuse during his life, he caused his own abuse during life, which resulted in his death. No pity, no worries, but lots-of-laughs over the poster! I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Not soon enough!

  60. zombie bbq says:

    wow bad taste man …

  61. Rorsharch says:

You are a grade A douche bag for posting this. I hope your genitals have to be removed.

  62. Strict says:

Why is it always wrong or bad when it’s a celebrity but when a normal person dies it’s ok to make fun of them the day after?

    • jonas says:

wow, er, i think you have been misinformed. it is not okay to make fun of normal people either the day after they died

  63. Fry says:

Way too late. It would’ve been so much better if posted before they even got him to the morgue.

  64. Eidolon says:

Too soon? Nah. Not for a self induced death. As someone pointed out earlier – not anywhere this much sympathy for the thousands of addicts who die each day from the results of their alcohol/drug addictions.

    • Brandi says:

No, those deaths are all unfortunate as well. The difference is WE DON’T F***ING KNOW YET!!! THE AUTOPSY IS SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY!! THEY DON’T THINK IT WAS AN OVERDOSE!! THEY THINK IT WAS A REACTION TO A PRESCRIPTION DRUG AND AN OTC DRUG… BUT THEY DON’T KNOW YET, AND NEITHER DO YOU!! You didn’t know him on any personal level. You weren’t there on his final moments. A mother lost a son, Feldman lost a brother (I know they’re not related), his friends lost a homie… it’s unfortunate regardless of the cause.

      • ideitbawx says:

ok ok, STOP! both of you!

here’s the EXACT phrasing in the picture: “R.I.P. – Don’t worry, he’s with his career now”.

here’s what i want to know: where the F*** in that quote does it say ANYTHING about his drug use?!

admittedly, i don’t know anything about mr haim, but the idea of a dead d-list celebrity with their dead career makes for a humourous anecdote. and let’s face it, the 80s-style curly hair just hammers that line home even more.

the only reference to drugs i’ve heard is from everyone on the comments section going “F*** TAHT STOOPIT JUNKEE LOLZ” or “HOW DAER U MAEK FUN UV HIS ILLMINTS DOOSHBAG”, making me wonder, didn’t anyone else even READ the f***ing caption?!

yes, i’d probably be a little hot under the collar if someone trashed a band i like on this site in one of these posters (and who’s more notorious for drug overdoses than musicians?), but guess what? we’re all just as much beings of praise as we are targets for ridicule. corrupt politicians don’t get it, coked-out retards of any level of fame don’t get it, and it seems like everyone on this site doesn’t get it, even though that’s the point of everything Cheezburger.

        /rant

  65. Edgar says:

Hate to break it to you but Corey Haim wouldn’t give a s**t if you died.

  66. mindmelda says:

Cold…man…but still funny. This guy was in self destruct mode for most of his life.
Sad, but you can’t fix people unless they want it.

  67. mxcx says:

It’s not to soon, he died of a drug overdose. His fault.

  68. The Amazing Rando says:

Hey, has anyone pointed out yet that it’s too soon? /sarcasm

  69. Anon says:

Not cool, not funny; FAIL BLOG worthy.

  70. randy says:

Nothing short of brilliance. All of you who are posting, “Too soon” are just pissed off that you were beat to the punch. The timing is PERFECT, its been shared 536 times on FB. 536 other people think the timing is perfect. If this was a week, a month, a year later even I, who grew up in the 80′s, would be going, “Who is this…”

Get off your high horse and get a sense of humor.

  71. Piss off says:

It would be in poor taste if he died tragically. There is nothing tragic about lying about being clean, then causing your own death by illegal narcotics, that would be ALMOST Darwin worthy.

  72. Piss off says:

He is playing in the giant Neverland Ranch in the sky

  73. vinden says:

    too soon, too schmoon

  74. FlareKitsune says:

78 comments! Keep it up guys, let’s try to break a 100 before the end of the week.

  75. Butterfingers says:

It’s not even a good joke.

  76. CaRnAgE says:

    HAHAHAHAHAH epic win!

  77. GrammieCool says:

Nobody jokes about other actors who die too young of drug overdoses. (Like Heath Ledger – dead at 29 !!) What makes this guy special ? Didn’t watch his stuff, was he that bad ? Yea, this is a comedy site, but this post seems to have really stirred up a lot of angst ! I read the comments to find out who he was !

  78. Luvedit says:

AHA HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Too soon my ASS! People have been making Dead Corey Haim jokes while he was still alive what the f***s the difference now.

  79. MegaMega says:

    How is this too soon?

It was a drug overdose. He either wanted to die or was too stupid to live. Get over it.

  80. uncle frank says:

Funny? Oh yeah. Too soon? You’ve got to be kidding. I’m just surprised it took someone 12 hours to post it.

  81. todd says:

Too Soon and horrible!! Have some class…though I guess for the internet that’s too much to ask.

  82. CheebaHawk says:

    Definitely too soon…

Funny? Yes, but I felt bad and face palmed myself while chuckling.

Pushing the envelope with humor is cool & self inflicted deaths may allow for some ribbing of deceased but timing is everything with comedy even if you don’t like the person.

    Definitely too soon…

  83. Dana says:

Poor taste, terrible. This should be removed out of respect for his family at least. Jesus you people are sick if you think that’s funny.

  84. Elle says:

This should really be taken down.

  85. wwwhhhaaattt says:

    lol
this is almost crossing the line into bad taste

  86. Luvedit says:

AHA HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Too soon my Butt! People have been making Dead Corey Haim jokes while he was still alive what the the difference now.

  87. Toga says:

Does this mean there isn’t gonna be a Lost Boys 3?

  88. lifeinrewind says:

Def not too soon, bring on the lol’s

  89. Darthob says:

JUST TO LET YOU ALL KNOW.
This is probably the most attention this guy ever got. Way to go!

  90. deathdealer24 says:

    Not cool, man, not cool

  91. Brandy L. says:

Oh, come on man. this is just wrong. you could have at least waited till after his funeral. You are a true douche bag. Get bent.

    • Pac0 says:

True. I also think verydemotivational.com is just as much of a douchebag for putting it up on their site.

      • II says:

        ….um….then GTFO.

This site IS optional people. So is readign the comments.

        • Pac0 says:

For the most part I enjoy this site but there should be boundaries and limits. This one has crossed that line.

          • II says:

The problem is “crossing the line” is relative. Opinions vary. What one person thinks is funny someone else may find offensive, not funny, moronic, etc.

Best way to ensure not being disappointed is to not take part. Just ignore what offends. I know that may sound crass but it may be the best.

I’m rarely offended, I take everything in stride and try to understand that even when I’m keyboard attacked by someone they just don’t agree with me. They can say whatever but I’m not losing sleep over it. Just ignore it. If I see somethign on here offensive and I don’t like it I’m not gonna personally attack someone. Just b/c I don’t agree doesn’t meen they’re wrong.

e-picketing accomplishes nothing. It does provide entertainment at times though. :)

          • Toga says:

Are you suggesting we censor the internet?! I thought I was sick!

        • BigMomma says:

And yet, you seem to have this compulsion to comment about everyone else’s comments II!!! If you don’t like their comments, GTFO!! Why must you make a negative comment for everyone who thinks this joke was too soon. Again, get over yourself already!!

    • The dead 88 says:

      to true man to true

  92. ben says:

Too soon? Who’d care if this was done 6 months from now? May as well do it when it’s timely, otherwise no one will care or even remember he died.

  93. Your Lord And Master Foamy says:

To every one who gave the thumbs down: Too soon, but funny and true as hell.

  94. r'Ali says:

Guy, guys- It’s been 24 hours. It is no longer too soon.

  95. Justin says:

Who knew people were so passionate about a horrible actor? o.o

    • Pac0 says:

It’s about respect, regardless of his acting ability.

Clearly you have none. And you certainly aren’t getting mine.

      • II says:

This is what I mean. I don’t think he cares if you agree with him or he “gets your respect” since he doesn’t even know you.

It’s part of the internet package. People disagree. People argue. I jsut don’t get why people voluntarily get offended. What I mean is, why go somewhere or get nito discussion/debate with someone that truly offends you?

        • II says:

PS ~ Sorry for all the typos. Terrible headache. :)

          • Pac0 says:

People can have different opinions about what is offensive or not, I get it. My problem isn’t too much about WHO the imager is about but more about not showing respect to somebody who has passed, celeb. or not. Of course you can voice your opinion about the image but you still can do so in a respectful manner.

        • Jessica says:

“It’s part of the internet package. People disagree. People argue. I jsut don’t get why people voluntarily get offended. What I mean is, why go somewhere or get nito discussion/debate with someone that truly offends you?”

That is exactly what you are doing and have been doing throughout the thread. You are arguing because they disagree with you, get over yourself. It goes both ways.

          • mavisbeecon says:

i go to websites that have white jokes sometimes, because its f***ing hilarious i don’t see why black people get offended over black jokes all the time…

            • iseestupidpeople says:

cuz whitey ain’t actually bright enough to know the joke is about him.

Darky on the other hand, KNOWS the joke’s on him, and finds it offensive.

Spics, we watch both of you, and laugh our brown asses off at the hilarity of the whole black vs. white issue, while we quietly clean up your messes and steal BOTH your women!

              Arrrrrrrrrriba La Raza !!!!!

      • Justin says:

Rofl, like I care if I have the respect of some guy named Paco on the internet. That would be as sad as sticking up for Corey Haim.

        • II says:

          I thought so. :)

        • Pac0 says:

Actually my name isn’t Paco. It’s not a matter of someone you don’t know having respect for you or not. It’s basically meant to show you that you guys need to take a look at yourself and how you’re portraying yourselves with your comments.

          • II says:

Why? To impress someone else, much less someone I will never know?

I’d rather have someone be up front and honest than lie to my face.

I’m not going to front. I’ll speak my mind and refuse being mindless and following the masses thank you. :)

PS ~ but your name IS Pac0. :)

  99. Peter Zimmerman says:

  100. Matthew says:

wow… thats way too soon, he died yesterday.. you should definantly take this down…

  101. SomeGuy says:

    Wow…

  102. Amber says:

way too soon and VERY unclassy..doesn’t matter who it is or what they’ve done in their life..nobody would want this for themselves..death isn’t a joke

    • Orly? says:

I would LOVE if people would laugh at me when I died. If it will make people happy at my expense Im fine with it… I would be dead after all

      • Amber says:

not to your loved ones…not in this circumstance..theres different degrees of laughter..your life being a joke to people hours after your death is a bit disrespectful, but being known as a funny person who was a joke-ster..thats different.. theres always two sides to an argument and i happen to disagree with all this negative attention..but whatever makes you feel better about yourself

  103. hal says:

Not even funny enough for FAIL BLOG. Tactless, heartless, brainless.

  104. JMixx says:

    Meh. Not very funny IMO.

And tacky, btw. Congratulations, VDM, you’ve managed to offend half of the fans.

  105. Eyes says:

    Haha, “too soon”.
Next time, do one for someone still alive. Nobody actually keeps up on these has-been burn outs and most people would probably think they’re actually dead.

if Tiger died tomorrow, half of the people who bust his balls now would immediately recoil to sympathy. because of something we will all eventually go through. stupid.

  106. Karak15 says:

Today we grieve… what’s his name.

Making fun of him now and making fun of him however many years/months/days later is no different. Might as well get it out of our systems… except… I really have no idea who he is except from what I read… was he in that one robot chicken sketch where these two guys went after the George W. Bush’s daughters?

    Also… It’s the internet… you’re getting into a fight… If you’re really that tense about the subject, might I suggest rule 34?

  107. Greg says:

If you’re offended by this then this is probably the wrong website for you. Me? I shot coffee out my nose laughing so hard. Some one should put a picture of his parents on Failblog as well. While the rest of us work for a living i have no mercy for a snot nose tard who had the world handed to him and tried to smoke it…. I wonder if the worms feeding on him will OD as well?…. you may all now feel offended, lol.

  108. Sarah says:

His mother just came out and said that the preliminary autopsy report shows he died of Pulmonary Congestion. Maybe he was trying to turn his life around, no one will ever know except for those that were closest to him, and I agree that this was WAY TOO SOON!

    • Greg says:

Of course his Mom said that….. however according to news:

“Winter said no determination had been made about Haim’s cause of death, and toxicology tests would not be available for at least a month”

We’ll see, seems it also mentioned a fake prescrip for oxycotton too.

  109. Augie says:

    Not too soon?
Suppose you had a three year old baby daughter who was thrown from a car and was killed. So someone comes along immediately after the accident and snaps a photo of her brains laid out on the asphalt and posts it on a website. You happen to find this picture on said website with the caption “Headshot” under the photo. Is it still funny when the shoe is on the other foot?

    • Greg says:

It depends… was my 3 year old a washed up 80′s hack actor with a reaccuring drug habbit and no self control what-so-ever? I’m sure his connection isn’t laughing at this though.

    • II says:

Why would her shoes be on the wrong feet?

    • Jay says:

      thats…
      Entirely not the same thing.
now… if was a picture of her around a year old (long before the horrid death) with a caption like… I don’t know maybe “Easy Cum, Easy Go” (maybe making an allusion that it only took me like 5 seconds to start her a-brewin’) you’d at least be comparing apples to apples.
So starting from that point, where you’ve got a picture that doesn’t reflect her state the day of her death, or how she died you have a similar image.
Now… I’ve only been a been a dad a few weeks, but I’m pretty sure me and my family would be upset by that sort of joke. At least until the concerns of the living had forced me to move on. I’m pretty sure that wouldn’t be too long: I still gotta work, pay my bills, etc.
Though… now that I think about it, It would likely be a friend or family member that posted the picture in the first place since I’m not famous and the internet isn’t plastered with pictures of my kid, and her death won’t make national news.
Most of the time when the 1st world’s general lack of concern for the plight of others gets me down I just remind myself that we’re all made of meat and eventually everyone I’ve ever met anywhere will die:It’s the only thing we’re really good at.

  110. Required says:

Though I think that comedy shouldn’t be restricted by any law of etiquette, I don’t like this poster, because it simply isn’t funny.

  111. Aidan says:

I know people who made fun of Billy Mays death six hours after it happened.

    Still, I laughed at this.

    R.I.P Cory Haim

    • Jay says:

I saw a billy mays commercial during a commercial break within 10 minutes of the announcement on TV. People may have made jokes at D+6 hours, but at least they weren’t making any money off it?
Also: jokes are some people’s coping mechanism. Think about it: would you rather them make a few (dozen?) off-color jokes or get completely trashed and die of alcohol poisoning? I mean, yeah, the latter’s a good choice if you don’t like them maybe but then… wait… I forgot where I was going with this.

  112. cinaninja says:

funny & true.a saddly fitting tribute.

Honestly, I laughed, and i’m fine with black humor. The comments surprise me, but that’s the internet. But geez, it’s not like there’s a petition to end black humor and y’all have to jump to it’s rigorous defense. It’s just odd how online anyone raising the spectre of being respectful of others is attacked as if they were burning books as a break from throwing suspected liberals into bear traps.

  121. Toto says:

    Yeah not classy at all.
and to all the people saying he was nothing more than a junkie and got what he deserved. He died of pulmonary congestion not OD so get your facts straight before you want to disrespect the dead. :(

        KakiePanties……how YOU doin?

      • Zombie Victim says:

Oh, sorry. I didn’t notice that you already pointed that out.

      • Mary says:

ahem. How bout if your close relative, or your friend died, and someone make a joke about it THE SAME DAY? I don’t know about you but i would defenately care. Maybe Corey Haim wouldn’t care, HE’S DEAD, but for people who knew him, or even his fans, it’s hurtful. Death isn’t funny, If anything, wait a bit, don’t do it THE SAME DAY. Of course dead people don’t care about jokes about them, but people who know them do, especially if it’s unflattering to the decesed.

    • Zombie Victim says:

If I died right now (much to Bfoehsho’s pleasure), I can tell you that I wouldn’t care if someone made a joke about it. I’d be dead! Dead people don’t CARE about anything. Not respect, not honor, nothing.

Feed my dead body to the wolves, put it in a compost pile, hide it in a wall, burn it, use it as a cadaver, throw it in a dumpster, put it in a beetle-box and sell my bones, I wouldn’t care.

and for those of you who think its too soon, history is a joke the living play on the dead, so stfu and dont become a troll like me
(although ive only recently found this site and am still lurking)

  133. sarah says:

Utterly bad taste. Same with the comixed!

  134. LadyLuck says:

People keep saying that this is crossing a line. Who gets to draw the damn line?

  135. Darthob says:

    XO 300!!!

  136. MarchHare says:

Definitely too soon. While it may be funny to some I think we can all respect the fact that somebody died and while some might not care there are people out there who do. Not caring and publicly mocking someone mere hours after their death are tw different things … one shows and understandable disassociation, you didn’t know the guy so why shuld you care … the other is just extremely disrespectful to the people who DO care. The man still had family and friends and fans and despite your personal opinions, they still deserve some sympathy and respect.
I know it’s the internet but it still does mean we need to abandon all common sense and common decency for a cheap laugh.

  137. ladyofargonne says:

Pardon me. I was looking for harmless fun.

  138. uembarrassme says:

Wow, this reeks of typical American detached insensitivity.

    • Greg says:

Then go start a site for well attatched sensitive bed wetting feel good what-ever-the-hell you are and STFU. Why do you even bother with us or our horrible interwebs? …..anyone else smell maple trees here?

      • feenyxo says:

oh man i get it cause canadians…no…i found this just rude, he didnt do many big projects out of the 80′s but you cant deny the fact that he was a good actor in his teen years.

        • Greg says:

First, lol, way to defend a comment you had nothing to do with. and second, yes…. Yes I can deny it. I know it’s hard to pick from all the box office smash hits he brought to the screen. I think I liked him best in “bankruptcy”. Oh wait, that was his autobiography.

  139. mickieblueyes says:

Wow, this guys got more press in the last few days than he got in the last 15 years. Maybe this will “revive” his career?
    heh

  140. mickieblueyes says:

A corpse would, after all, probly be a better actor

  141. nando says:

Well, it demotivated me, at least.

  142. buster says:

ho hum…..boring …not even funny in any sense….zzzzzz

  143. Onyx God says:

    Man! That’s Low!

  144. WarpedRenegade says:

    LMAO

  145. Ivory says:

Oh no we’ve lost the boy… get it… Lost Boys

  146. Mary says:

    :( way WAY too soon

For me, its weird, when actors die, its almost like their character die as well, so Sam, from the lost boys, les anderson, and Dinger! makes me sad, kinda like when The Swayze died, it’s like Darry from the outsiers died too.

It’s a funny poster, it’s witful and, i hate to say it, true, BUT, it is far too soon. it hasn’t even been a month. Just purley out of respect for the dead and his frinds and family, not only that, his fans, and those stuck in the 80′s. too soon man, sorry.

    RIP Corey Haim

  147. David says:

So this is too soon but uhh.. when is it okay to make fun of people? You guys are laughing at others misfortunes all the time but making fun of dead people is horrible? My god grow a couple of balls. You all laugh at people all the f***ing time without feeling the least bit guilty, stop being retarded.

  148. jesi says:

the trick folks, is if you’re going to be that mean, you need to be clever…booooo!

  149. Jeremy says:

how fitting. now if the other one would just die

  150. Jeremy says:

how fitting! now if the other one would just die

  151. thatguy says:

LOL come onnnn people,, a joke is a joke. its up on the net,, and obviously it has no intention of being taken down. so stop complaining because its kind of useless if you keep complaining about it, and its STILL there(:
rip corey…even though i really didnt know you until robot chicken made fun of you(:

  152. megz says:

this is F***ED up. he was a human being. i don’t like nor care about celebrities, but they are human beings and deserve the basic respect that all human beings deserve. there are all kinds of assholes on the internet who think shocking/offensive=funny, and that’s just not true. people who think something is innately funny just because of the shock value, and doesn’t even need to be clever or witty or humorous in any way are really stupid people. intelligent people appreciate REAL comedy. this is not funny, it’s just mean-spirited. that doesn’t automatically make it funny. i’m surprised this website allowed this to be published.

  154. Get over it losers says:

Too soon? Oh please, months later it isn’t really funny. In order for it to be funny and have the shock effect the joke needed, it had to be done right away. Some people need to get over their self righteousness.

  155. Polyquaternium7 says:

Too soon? NEVER TOO SOON HAHAHA, I laughed my ass off, I laughed about al those comments, especially the one about his dead career down the bottom of a ravine, or is it himself?

Like people really give a s**t. Im not self dellusional, I love Black humour. ( The Darker the better :P )

Lost Boys really one of my favorite (vampire)movies

He died of an overdose? To bad he didnt have a “Death By Stereo”

This Demotivational picture was just timed right ;)

  156. TheDeadlyGerbill says:

Its a JOKE people get over yourselves you like it, laugh, you don’t, hit ALT F4.

  157. boo says:

    HAHAHAHA

And when did he die?! :D

  158. kawaii says:

    O_o who is he?

  159. BCat says:

Oh, come on people. If it was too soon, then when is the time right? And I grieve over no man who died of an Drug Overdose. He knew what he was doing and for that, he is not worth my tears. What’s done is done, it cannot be taken back. Life is too short to be grieving over someone you didn’t even know.

And it is the INTERNET. You can complain all you want about it, it won’t change a thing. If you want this taken down, its like asking for the whole galaxy on a silver platter. If you don’t want to be offended, then just get the hell off the internet! Grow a backbone.

To the guy who made this: It made me laugh. +2 internets for you. :p

  160. southerncheeselover says:

    it says R(est)I(n)P

which in itself, is funny too…

so on 2nd thought, still a WIN!
