The part of Texas I live in is, unfortunately, an illegal immigrant hotspot. It’s insane how much I see of this all the time. About 75% of the billboards on the roads are in spanish too.
… And your proudly “American” stores and companies write to them in Spanish because they know how good business they are. Also, not only illegals speak Spanish; many residents and citizens too. Think twice before posting racist comments.
Thank you Chardrak. Cal, most of the people who are legit American citizens from Mexico speak decent english. The ones who don’t speak it at all are by in large illegals. Now go back to enjoying whatever 3rd world s**thole you call home.
You are not being racist johnson? Insulting “3rd world” countries? By the way, we all live in a third world country, in case you didn’t know. It’s called Earth. And that s**thole place you are trying to refer to, is called Sweden. Why don’t you go and learn some respect for cultures and languages first and then we talk.
3rd world ur balls, its 2nd by the way 3rd worlds is like africa and I hav went 2 many us cities bcause my family coms from there but we r originally from france, and let me tell u that I prefere here in mexico ppl is nicer and parties r funnier also some Mexican cities r amongst the world’s best cities and also the mexicans that go illegally r the ones from little towns or villages and they go bcauz they r poor and many of them stupid…
Lol, do you know what’s 2nd world? 2nd world refeers to socialists countries, so Mexico isn’t lol. Mexico is from 3rd world until it gets a Capitalist (1st world) or a Comunist (2nd world) economy.
1. Hispanics are the same race as other European Americans*.
2. He did not mention hispanics, or any race. He only named illegal immigrants.
3. Illegal immigrants are not a race, and they are a problem.
4. Spanish speaking/reading people are not a race either.
So no, that was not a racist comment. You fail.
* In an effort to make sense of political correctness, I use “European American” in the same way people use “African American”: somebody whose ancestors are from Europe.
Hey! its just like chinatown! I serious too, the manager came over, looked at our check, and added 9 bucks, thats after trying to sell my 16 yr old son a beer
why didnt you just let your son get that nice cold beer. I never understood your american ways and laws, getting a drivers license by the age of 16, being able to vote at 18, but first when your 21!!!!!!! you are allowed to enjoy a nice cold beer… thats just f***ed up.
They are two separate things. I was in Cancun and wanted to make some tequila sunrises so I ordered some i bought some jugo de naranja assuming my Spanish teachers had taught me correctly. Jugo de naranja is basically Sunny Delight and it comes in plastic bottles in Mexico. If you want Orange Juice the way Americans think of it, it comes in cardboard and is more expensive, thus the sign. For those wondering, a tequila sunrise made with jugo de naranja (aka Sunny D) is not very good.
Sorry to bring it up again but: Mexico isn´t a third world counry, is a “developing country” (ex 3rd world, to be first…) But, I think being Mexican myself I really can say this: Almost every city in Mexico sux! The only fun cities over here are Monterrey, Guadalajara, DF and our beaches (and bithces LOL).
to the guy that ranted about street billboards in texas being in spanish, yoou must remember Texas was Mexican territory (along with all southern USA) that´s why they have a lot of streets and cities (towns) with latin names,
Education has cost you know….
Apparently yours didn’t.
Win!
Awesome. This is a fantastic idea. Can’t wait to stop doing to dumbass gringos
yea you must calculate a cost of translation of 1$

Normally I don’t bother to comment on bad grammar, but the irony…

I’m from Sweden, and its one of the richest countries in the world infact.

+1 internets
Eh, f*** political correctness…
But other than that, yeah, +1 internets from me too.
WIN! Thank you for clearing that up. Too many people get racism so wrong these days. Everybody who thought it was racist failed.
+1 internets
I’d rather have drivers understand the street signs, regardless of the language, than cause an accident.
el pasoelpasoelpasoelpasoelpaso
i lived there
bearly made it out alive
Narnia: worth one less dollar than orange juice.
It said, “jugo de naranja.” Failing grammar nazi is a failure.
Well, the sign covers the j’s tail, so it looks like an i. And some people don’t know how to spell Narnia.

I’ll try to speak in a way you’ll understand.
Beer, bad for body. Beer make people feel bad. Beer give hangover. Sixteen Young. You Douchebag.
yeah, but you can go to the war, and kill, at 18, (is 18 right?), and yet u cant get a beer…
Those look like grapefruit to me… maybe its sun bleached?
That’s amazing. How did they get that Jugo all the way from Narnia?
LOL Sarge!!
I think they misspelled it, its probably a Yugo. The book value on those don’t hold up well.
muy buen
f*** the usa…f***ing hicks
lol its a dollar less cuz its from narnia… wait… shouldnt it be reversed?
mmmmmmm i always thought orange juice was zumo de naranja is this a latin american thing?
juice = jugo
orange = naranja
Joseph, they are almost the same think… i guess…

Does anyone else notice how the fruit in the picture isn’t even an orange?
The image is sunbleached, and btw I’m mexican and this made me laugh xDD
And actually…
Jugo = Zumo
Jugo is a latin american term for juice
Zumo is the term used in spain
Bye people Lol
Bahahaha. White Americans should be able to order in Spanish, and pay double. It’s a tiny cost compared to their overall privilege.
So price should be fixed according to skin color? I’m sure you pat yourself on the back for that kind of “tolerant” bigotry.
Sorry to bring it up again but: Mexico isn´t a third world counry, is a “developing country” (ex 3rd world, to be first…) But, I think being Mexican myself I really can say this: Almost every city in Mexico sux! So, if u buy the $4 drink u get teleported to Narnia
?
Spanish grammar fail
It should be jugo de naranjo
Unless I failed spanish again
You failed spanish again.
Naranjo is the tree, naranja is the fruit, so, it should be “jugo de naranja”
unless you want to drink tree juice
